Have you ever looked at your computer screen, only to find everything suddenly appears smaller or larger than usual? If this sounds familiar, you’re not alone. Many of us have encountered this problem, and while it can be frustrating, the good news is it’s often a simple fix.
Checking Your Display Settings
The first thing I usually check is my display settings. Display settings control just how everything appears on my screen, including the size of the text, icons, and other items. To access these settings, I follow these steps:
For Windows Users
- Right-click on the desktop. This brings up a context menu.
- Select “Display settings.” A panel should appear showing various options.
- Adjust the slider under “Scale and layout.” Here you can select a percentage to make items either larger or smaller.
