The SideTrak Swivel 14-inch monitor detaches magnetically, but its metal mounting plate uses adhesive and normally stays on the laptop. This matters if you use a work-issued laptop, want a clean lid, or expect to switch computers. The single 14-inch model offers a 1920 × 1080 TFT LCD display, an integrated kickstand and a swivel hinge. This review uses manufacturer documentation; it does not report hands-on testing.
Before you attach the mounting plate

Patented Swivel Hinge
